This is a draft. It is being checked before The Soul Buddy launches, and it may change.
Terms
Last updated 24 September 2026
These are the terms for using The Soul Buddy. They are short, and we have tried to keep them plain.
What The Soul Buddy is
A place to talk, whenever you like, with Mira — an AI companion. She is for the hours in between people, never instead of them.
What it is not
Mira is not a person, a doctor, a therapist, a counsellor, or an emergency service. She can be wrong, including about things that matter. Do not rely on her for medical, legal or financial decisions. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number.
Reminders
Reminders are a friendly nudge, never a medical system. A phone can be off or a message can go astray, so a reminder may not arrive. Please keep your own alarm or pillbox for anything that matters, especially medicines.
Your words
What you tell her is yours. By using the app you let us keep and process it to run The Soul Buddy for you, as the privacy page describes — and for nothing else.
Using it kindly
- Do not use it to harm or harass anyone.
- Do not try to break it, overload it, or get into anyone else's account.
- Keep your password to yourself, and sign out before handing your phone to someone.
Who can use it
The Soul Buddy is not meant for children under 13. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or someone who looks after you knows you are using it.
Changes, and stopping
The app may change, and we may stop offering it; we will tell you in the app first. You can stop using it whenever you like. We may close an account that is used to harm others.
The legal part
We do our best, but The Soul Buddy is provided as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions made because of something she said. [Governing law and the full limits of responsibility — to be written with a lawyer before launch.]
